Sheffield Student Surgical Society

The Surgical Society offers a wide variety of events for its members. We run academic events, such as anatomy revision sessions, lectures and revision pub quizzes. We put on a variety of talks throughout the year with a focus on surgery, and we run clinical skills sessions and a surgical mentorship scheme. Our academic calendar culminates with our Annual National Conference in February, at which we have a range of speakers and skills workshops. We also run social events, including our famous scrubs social, the proceeds of which go to our selected charity. Membership to the society allows members to attend most events free of charge and the rest at heavily discounted rates. We offer both one year and lifetime membership.
