About
We are a student support group of the international charity Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders, an impartial and neutral organisation that provides emergency healthcare where it is needed most following natural disasters, in armed conflict zones or those excluded from healthcare access.
At FoMSF, we have 3 main goals:
– Fundraising! Through events such as gigs and quizzes.
– Awareness! Including speaker, film and discussion events.
– Campaigning! Supporting MSF campaigns including the TB Manifesto and helping with missing maps – creating maps in vulnerable areas which allow rapid disaster response.
As a society we work closely with other courses and global health societies such as Engineers Without Borders, Giving what we can and Medsin.
