Sheffield recommendations: Anywhere in the Peaks with water, a ball/frisbee, and a café where I can steal some snacks! My favourite is the Botanical Gardens or the walk from Endcliffe Park to Forge Dam.

What I wish I knew in first year: All the safe swim spots in the Peaks - still looking for more, suggestions welcome!

Peaks or West Street?: Peak District, obviously - it’s full of water for me to swim in. I’m a rescue and big crowds make me nervous, so West Street is a no from me
